How much are sessions?
The evaluation appointment is approximately 90-120 minutes and is $150-175. After the initial assessment, 60 minute treatment sessions are $150-175. *Rates are subject to change and depend on provider being seen. Treatment duration will be determined after the first assessment and the number of treatments will be based on need, but will always involve patient input. Currently, I accept cash, flexible spending/health savings accounts and credit/debit cards.
Value of one-on-one visits
Many Physical Therapy clinics rely on volume and the concern is profit, which means double and even triple booking the therapists. The level of attention and dedication to YOU is diminished in these clinics. By offering one-on-one treatment sessions, you will have the full attention of the therapist to focus on YOUR needs to minimize your limitations and maximize your results.
Why do you not accept insurance?
My main goal is to provide excellent patient care toward your treatment goals. By not accepting insurance, time consuming tasks dictated by the insurance company that draw away from your care are eliminated. This optimizes time spent toward YOUR treatment and LESS time jumping through hoops.
Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Insurance Reimbursement
Funds in HSA/FSAs can often times be used for services provided. You can either pay for the services with your HSA/FSA card or a receipt of payment and services provided can be given to you that you could submit for reimbursement. Although I do not accept/submit insurance claims, many insurance companies may either provide credit toward your deductible or reimburse at least part of the payment made depending on the specifics of your coverage. I would be considered out-of-network for your insurance policy and depending on the details of your coverage, the insurance could handle this different ways. Most insurance companies have an in-network and out-of-network deductible. Once you meet your out-of-network deductible, the insurance company may reimburse for part of the payment made for services. Goodman Performance Therapy, LLC can provide you a receipt of payment and services performed, but can make no guarantee for reimbursement or credit toward your deductible as insurance policies vary widely. Claim submission to insurance companies is solely the responsibility of the patient. Please check with your insurance company for specific details of your policy.
